Anatomy of an Electric Guitar

The Electric Guitar Body - This is the most distinctive part of the guitar in my opinion. Guitar bodys come in a wide variety of shapes, colors and sizes.
While electric guitar bodies are typically made out of wood they are sometimes made out of more exotic materials such as clear resin or metal. In the 50s and 60 companies like Valco and Kay experimented with fiberglass bodies with mixed results.
